The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Armenia organized a two-day visit to the city of Goris in the Syunik Region aimed at promoting financial literacy.

Representatives of the Fund met with students and faculty members at Goris State University, Goris Multi-Functional State College, and Goris High School No. 4, presenting the activities of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, as well as the importance of personal financial management, fraud prevention, saving, and investing.

During the meetings, participants also discussed several deposit insurance indicators in comparison with international practices.

The questions raised by participants once again highlighted the importance of cooperation between the academic community and financial sector institutions aimed at knowledge sharing and the development of professional potential.
